Dr. Schlesinger of Creative Associates visits CADER

Aiming at strengthening ties and building bridges of cooperation between CADER and Creative Associates, Dr. Joel Schlesinger, Vice President for Education, Mobilization and Communications at Creative Associates paid a visit to CADER. The visitor was received at CADER by Dr. Amin Amin, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohammad Hourani, Project Manager, Ms. Lama Saqr, Creativity Advisor and a number of other CADER's staff.

At CADER, a number of Master Trainers gave a presentation that showcased the major achievements and challenges they encountered during the implementation of the first phase of ERSP. The second presentation highlighted CADER's participation in the Jordan Schools Program (JSP).

During the visit, Dr. Schlesinger was briefed on one of the professional development workshops conducted in one of Amman's directorates of education for a number of school principals under Education Reform Support Project (ERSP). The visitor also toured CADER's Academy and saw how the High Education Diploma program is applied, which is offered in cooperation with Yarmouk University as one of the professional development programs for teachers. Moreover, he talked with the teachers enrolled in the program and felt the impact of this program on the professional development level of teachers and how this impact is transferred to the classroom.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Schlesinger expressed his satisfaction in the work mechanism adopted by CADER and in the method of implementing ERSP. He also expressed hope in boosting cooperation and partnership in further future projects.

It's worth pointing out that ERSP is implemented by CADER in cooperation with Creative Associates, Save the Children Federation, Seward Inc., and EMI Systems. Through this program, CADER carries out a number of professional development programs targeting teachers working at the Ministry of Education and those newly appointed, and other educators, such as, supervisors, school principals, and MOE employees.
